Kajol Praises Shah Rukh Khan As The Most Understanding Person, Shares Experience Of Shooting The Song 'Jaati Hun Main'

Kajol remembered that she was largely ignorant of the song design and basically followed instructions. Kajol then said that Shah Rukh had given her the confidence to perform the song.

New Delhi: The popular song 'Jaati Hoon Main' from the 1995 film 'Karan Arjun' starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol continues to be a hit, despite the latter's claim that she had "no idea" what was going on in the song. Shah Rukh, though, was acknowledged by Kajol for easing her into the song. They had worked together for a very long time.

Chinni Prakash created the choreography for the song, which was written by Rajesh Roshan. Kajol was questioned about the song's creation in an interview with The Hindu. The song has been referred to as a "tastefully done steamy" track.

Kajol remembered that she was largely ignorant of the song design and basically followed instructions. Kajol then said that Shah Rukh had given her the confidence to perform the song, adding that the actor "gets" what ladies are comfortable with and what they aren't.

Speaking about her preparation for the song and her experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol said, "I had no clue what was being done. I was told before the shot ye karna, woh karna hai and I did just that. Bohot mushkil se kiya, lekin kiya (It was tough to do, but I did it). I would say one thing about Shah Rukh that he is still one of the most understanding costars because he understands what is uncomfortable for a woman to do and not to do and he tries his level best to make you most comfortable to do that."

“I would say that he is the most understanding of actors that I have worked with in my whole (career). He really gets it, that, ‘This is not comfortable for her to do and it’s ok, I will figure a way out to make it as comfortable as possible,'” she added.

Kajol will next be seen in 'Lust Stories 2' on Netflix. She will also be seen in the courtroom drama 'The Trial' that releases in July on streaming platform Disney + Hotstar.
