Avantika Malik, the ex-wife of actor Imran Khan, recently took to Instagram to share a deeply personal message about hope.
New Delhi: Avantika Malik, ex-wife of actor Imran Khan, has shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, reflecting on her journey of self-discovery and hope. Avantika Malik and Imran Khan were married for eight years till they divorced in 2019, and Avantika's most recent post shows how she has grown and healed since then.
After four or five years apart, Avantika reconnected with two old friends and wrote an emotional post about it. Their final encounter, she said, was in 2019, a difficult year when she was "broken and unravelled."
She wrote, “I met 2 friends after a loooonnnggg time (4-5yrs) this week. The last time they saw me in the flesh was 2019, the year I broke and unraveled… And then they saw me now. And they both had the same things to say… That they finally see me be authentic, the real me. And the joy they see that brings to my eyes, a glow to my face:…and I knew they were telling me the truth. But the best thing they said to me was that I was “living"."
Avantika Malik’s Message of Courage
Avantika said that the feedback she received from her friends was the last piece that fit her perfectly. She said that choosing to have optimism even when things seemed hopeless was the key to her change. “In the darkest, bleakest moments (and there were a few) to be able to remind myself that if all I do is work on putting out the love that is within me then the universe will generously reflect that back to me. What is within is without," she said.
The post ended with a message about embracing hope, stressing the need to maintain optimism. At the conclusion of her message, Avantika said, "Always hold onto your HOPE" I'm proud of me! ( Learning to feel and say that more)."
