Zaid Darbar was trolled by Reddit users for mocking a homeless guy in his Instagram story.
New Delhi: Gauahar Khan's husband Zaid Darbar is facing a lot of criticism since he posted an Instagram story featuring a homeless person in Mumbai. Many internet users considered him disrespectful and disgusting. In the story, a homeless guy slept close while Zaid posted a photo of himself standing. "No AC, no fan, no darkness, but still sleeping so peacefully because no wife?,” he captioned the photo. Tagging his wife, actress Gauahar Khan, Zaid further wrote, But I am the most peaceful with you jaanu. I love you jaanu…”
A screenshot of Zaid’s message went viral on Reddit. People were upset and furious, blaming Zaid for being insensitive on social media. A Reddit user posted Zaid Darbar's story with the caption: “Is he really that stupid?”

Reddit users were also quite critical of Zaid for making a joke about his wife. One user wrote, “This is the classic desi toxic husband humour,” while another one said, “Oh the classic misogynistic “No wife” joke… like geeez some men don’t deserve to get married.”
A person heavily criticised the actress as well and wrote, "Gauhar herself is an entitled brat, if you watch her “reality show” which is a Walmart version of the kardashian’s show, then you know how dumb and superficial she is."
For the unversed, Zaid is the son of music composer Ismail Darbar. People also pointed it out saying he must be very privileged to make fun of a homeless.
