Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, after a successful tour in India, captivated concert-goers in the Middle East, proudly shouting, “Punjabi aa gaye Abu Dhabi” during his performance.

Diljit Dosanjh performs in Abu Dhabi 

Diljit shared a snippet of his Abu Dhabi concert on Instagram, where he kicked off the show by saying, “Punjabi aa gaye Abu Dhabi,” before singing the iconic track “Tu Mujhe Kabool” from the 1992 film 'Khuda Gawah'. He captioned the post with "Marhaba Abu Dhabi."

'Khuda Gawah', a 1992 epic drama directed by Mukul S. Anand, starred Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi in pivotal roles. The film tells the story of Badshah Khan, who travels from Afghanistan to India to find his lover's father’s killer, only to be framed for a crime and imprisoned.

Diljit had previously performed in Jaipur and shared his gratitude for the love and support he received from the city. "I will never forget this love," he said, thanking Jaipur’s police for their cooperation during his DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24. He also posted photos from his visit to the City Palace and enjoyed the local Dal Bati Churma.

During his Jaipur performance, Diljit expressed his admiration for the city and India, saying, “Yeh pagdi hamari shaan hai” (This turban is our pride). He also celebrated the cultural diversity of India, saying, “Har do-teen chaar ghante baad humaari boli, khaana change hojata hai. Yeh humaari desh ki beauty hai” (Our language and food change every few hours. This is the beauty of our country). Diljit expressed love for every region and people, adding, "We love everyone from Jaipur, Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab… and we love our country."
