Chris Martin’s Apology For British Raj Sparks Conversation At Coldplay Concert, Watch

Chris Martin mesmerized fans with his captivating vocals during Coldplay's concert in Mumbai on Saturday. Several videos and photos from the band’s electrifying performance at DY Patil Stadium quickly surfaced on social media, including one where Chris expressed a heartfelt apology for Britain’s colonial rule, leaving the crowd in awe.

A fan took to Instagram to share a video from the concert where Chris Martin could be heard saying, “This is our forth visit to India, and the second time to play. First time we played a long show and we could not have asked for a better audience. Thank you for coming today everybody!”

Since arriving in India last Thursday, Chris Martin has been immersing himself in the vibrant sights and sounds of Mumbai. Accompanied by his actor-girlfriend Dakota Johnson, the couple has been spotted exploring the city, often holding hands. Chris and Dakota visited the iconic Marine Drive, and later, they made a trip to a Shiva temple, where they offered prayers in traditional attire. In a heartfelt gesture, Dakota also paid a visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple, joined by actors Sonali Bendre and Gayatri Joshi. 

Coldplay India concert

Coldplay kicked off their much-anticipated India tour in Mumbai on Saturday evening, electrifying fans with their signature sound. The band is set to perform in Mumbai again on Sunday and Tuesday, bringing even more energy to the city. Following their Mumbai performances, Coldplay will head to Ahmedabad for two back-to-back shows on January 25 and 26, promising more unforgettable moments for their Indian fans.
