Ashish Chanchlani Shares 1st Message After India's Got Latent Controversy: 'Seekh Lenge...'

After the SC allowed Ranveer Allahbadia to resume his show, Ashish Chanchlani took to his Instagram handle to share his first video message amid the controversy.

Ashish Chanchlani, Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Makhija and several others found themselves courting controversy after their appearance on the much-talked about comedy show 'India's Got Latent'. Most of them faced legal proceedings after Ranveer Allahbaida's 'incest comment' shook the entire industry. After several rounds of questioning and legal notices, the Supreme Court allowed Ramveer Allahbadia to resume his show, which was also halted in the light of controversy and protests.

After the SC allowed Ranveer Allahbadia to resume his show, Ashish took to his Instagram handle to share his first video message amid the controversy.

Ashish posts first video message amid controversy

Sharing a video message on his official Instagram handle, Ashish asked his fans to pray for him and his family. "Hello doston, kaise ho aap log, I know, aapke messages padhe maine, chal raha hai. Maine socha story pe aapse baat karlun lekin ab samajh nahi aa raha kya kahun. Lad lenge situation se, dekhe hain aise tough times, isse bhi kuch naya seekh lenge(Hey friends, how are you all? I know, I've read your messages, things are going on. I thought of talking to you about a story, but now I'm not sure what to say. We'll fight through this situation, we've seen such tough times before, we'll learn something new from this too.)".

He also asked his viewers to watch his content and support him when he begins to post online. "Main aap sabse bas yahi request karta hoon ki meri family aur mujhe apni prayers mein rakhna. Jab bhi main wapas aaun, mera kaam thoda idhar-udhar ho gaya hoga, lekin tab bhi support karna. I will work hard, as I have always worked hard. Bus dhyan rakhiye sab log apna( I just request all of you to keep my family and me in your prayers. Whenever I return, my work might be a bit scattered, but still, please support me. I will work hard, as I have always worked hard. Just take care of yourselves, everyone).

How did it all begin?

It all started with Ranveer Allahbadia's statement during Samay Raina's 'India Got Latent' when he asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?"While everyone laughed off the comment initially, it did not go down well with several social media influencers. There was massive backlash from various sections of the media, including FIRs against Ranveer, Samay, Ashish, and Apoorva.

After the massive backlash, Samay Raina removed all episodes of 'India's Got Latent' while Ranveer apologised. The Supreme Court initially prohibited them from airing new episodes until on Monday, the court allowed Ranveer to resume his podcast.
