Anushka Sharma Reacts To Influencer’s Post About Her ‘Secret’ Dating Phase With Virat Kohli

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, who are now seen as the power couple, maintained utter silence about their relationship during their dating phase. The couple got married in 2017. On social media, Freddy Birdy shared an anecdote from the time when he interviewed Anushka Sharma during her early days of dating Virat.

On Monday, Freddy took to his Instagram handle and shared a carousel post. He narrated the incident when he did a magazine interview with Anushka. He recounted his meeting with the actor, for which he flew to Mumbai from Delhi. Freddy visited Anushka at her then-penthouse and recalled her looking ‘utterly gorgeous’, being ‘completely unpretentious’, ‘funny, normal, and utterly relaxed', and ‘talkative in the nicest way’.

He went on to say that his driver had asked him to ask if Anushka and Virat are dating. Deep into the talk, Freddy said that his "Barkha Dutt instincts" took over and he tried to ask the question. “Of course her best acting skills came to the fore, and she pretended to know nothing about the question asked,” he said.

However, he got his answer when he could hear Virat flirting and making dinner plans with Anushka when she was on the phone. Freddy decided to keep her secret and did not disclose the truth to his driver. When he asked him if she's dating Virat, he denied.

Anushka reacts to Instagram post about her relationship

Reacting to the post, Anushka took to the comments section and wrote, “Freddy… (hearts and hug emojis).” He also responded with many  sparkling heart emojis. Journalist Barkha Dutt also dropped a comment and wrote, “(Red heart emojis) 'Barkha Dutt instincts.” 

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli dated for a couple of years before they tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Italy in 2027. The couple has a daughter named Vamika and a son, Akaay.
