Aaliyah Kashyap And Ida Ali Express Shock And Grief Over Pahalgam Terror Attack: 'We Were Here 2 Days Ago'

Aaliyah Kashyap and Ida Ali had recently visited Pahalgam and shared photos from the very location where the terror attack later took place.

In the wake of the terrible terrorist assault in Pahalgam, Kashmir, the daughters of famous directors Anurag Kashyap and Imtiaz Ali, Aaliyah Kashyap and Ida Ali, are shocked. During their recent visit to the gorgeous town, the BFFs posed near the spot where the terrible tragedy that killed 26 people, mostly tourists.

Ida Ali and her partner Krish Agrawal, along with Aaliyah Kashyap and her spouse Shane Gregoire, were two sets of young social media stars on vacation in Kashmir. Aaliyah used captions like "Heaven on earth" and "Kashmir Diaries" just a few days before the attack.

Nevertheless, after the attack's announcement, they both took to social media to express their shock and grief. Ida expressed her condolences on Instagram with a broken heart emoji and the words, "My heart goes out to all the victims and their families."

"This is crazy, we were just here 2 days ago," Aaliyah said after reposting a news item on the assault, expressing her shock at the incident.  

Aaliyah Kashyap further wrote, "Praying for all the victims, their families and all the people affected. This is heart breaking.”

About Pahalgam Terror Attack

On Tuesday afternoon, a brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, claimed the lives of 26 people, mostly tourists, including two foreigners and two locals. The incident occurred near Baisaran at around 3:00 PM, which is approximately six kilometres away from the popular resort town of Pahalgam, sometimes known as "mini Switzerland" because of its green meadows.

While visitors were out enjoying the day in the Valley, terrorists descended from the mountaintop and opened fire. According to reports, this is the worst assault on the Valley since the Pulwama incident in 2019.
