Amitabh Bachchan Admits Abhishek Bachchan Faces The Brunt Of 'Nepotism Negativity'

Amitabh Bachchan reacted to a post on social media that labeled Abhishek a "victim of nepotism negativity" while also commending his impressive filmography.

Amitabh Bachchan has often expressed his admiration for his son Abhishek Bachchan’s acting skills. Recently, he responded to a series of tweets celebrating Abhishek’s career. On Wednesday, the 82-year-old actor reacted to a post on social media that labeled Abhishek a "victim of nepotism negativity" while also commending his impressive filmography.

Amitabh Bachchan on Abhishek being a 'victim of nepotism negativity'

An X user wrote, "Abhishek Bachchan unnecessarily became the victim of 'nepotism' negativity, but the amount of good films in his filmography is very high."

Reacting to it, Amitabh wrote, "I feel the same .. and not just because I am his father."

A fan shared the trailer of Abhishek's upcoming film, ‘Be Happy’, and praised the actor in a tweet. Amitabh reacted to it and wrote, "Abhishek, you are extraordinary .. how you adapt and change with each film character is an art, which is incredible .. love you, Bhaiyu."

Praising him, the actor wrote, "Superior .. Abhishek .. stunning .. Abhishek .. the walk, the grace and .. THE STYLE .. and no fuss, just a normal being .. away from the unnecessary display of excitement or attention-seeking."

A few months ago, speaking to CNBC-TV18, Abhishek shared that he has become "immune" to the constant comparisons, whether with his father or his wife.

"But after 25 years of being asked the same question, I've become immune to it. If you're comparing me to my father, you're comparing me to the best. And if I'm being compared to the best, then maybe I'm worthy of being considered alongside these great names. That's how I look at it," he said.

About Be Happy

Meanwhile, ‘Be Happy’ promises to be a heartwarming experience, offering a heartfelt tribute to the unbreakable bond between a devoted single father, Shiv (Abhishek Bachchan), and his spirited, quick-witted daughter, Dhara (Inayat Verma). Dhara, wise beyond her years, dreams of performing on the country’s biggest dance reality show. However, when an unforeseen crisis threatens to crush that dream, Shiv is confronted with an impossible choice.
