In the video, Aishwarya fondly shared how Abhishek’s proposal left her amazed, but she was clueless about what would follow. “He proposed, which was amazing, but you still have no idea what’s going to be the conversation from the next day. I didn’t even know there’s something called a ‘Roka’. Suddenly, there is this call from their house to ours, and Abhishek says, ‘We are coming.’”
She went on to describe the chaotic yet memorable events surrounding the ceremony. “My dad was out of town. He said, ‘It’ll still take me a day to come.’ So paa (Amitabh Bachchan) and all of them said, ‘We are coming,’ and Abhishek was like, ‘I can’t stop them. We’re on our way. We’re coming to your place this evening.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ So this Roka was happening with the call to my father, who’s out of town. Mom is here.”
