Recently, Akshay sat down to talk about his 'early to bed early to rise' lifestyle with ABP Ent Live among other things, including his lifestyle, film, action hero image and more. When Akshay was asked about the incident when he apparently went to bed at 9:30 pm even though his guests were having dinner, he clearly denied by stating that he has always been a good host. 

Akshay left his guests waiting after inviting them for dinner

Many believe that Akshay was talking about the time when Vivek Oberoi and Riteish Deshmukh were at his house having dinner. He said, “No, this doesn’t happen. I drop people till their cars. I don’t leave them by themselves. I am very good host. We usually don’t have parties at home but when we host a party, it’s usually an early dinner. People come over, talk a bit, those who want to drink, they drink and and then I see them off.”

 

Vivek Oberoi praises Akshay

Earlier, in an interaction with ABP live, Vivek Oberoi had spoken about Akshay's dedication to his routine and said, "Akshay is so disciplined that one evening, we were having dinner at his place, and as soon as the clock struck 9:30 pm, he went upstairs. We thought he was just going to the washroom, but he never returned. We kept waiting for him until 11 pm, only for his wife, Twinkle Khanna, to come and tell us, ‘You guys should leave now. He’s already gone to sleep!’ That’s how disciplined he is. Hats off to him."

Vivek had also praised Akshay for helping him out when the industry 'boycotted' him. In an interaction with Mirchi Plus, he said, "My frustration was I was doing hit films, was getting awards, but why was I not getting work. Why was I getting boycotted like this? He didn’t say I will stand up with you, fight this war against this lobby. He gave a practical, simple solution, which gave me money, good feeling, love and a lot of fun.”
