His introduction to Bollywood was as a spot boy for his father’s production house 

While Abhishek Bachchan is now a household name, having given numerous hits over his 24-year-long acting career, his journey began in quite an ordinary fashion, with his first experience on set being for his father's production house. Abhishek Bachchan started his film career as a spot boy for his father, Amitabh Bachchan’s production house, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation, a truly humble start to an impressive career.  

Dedication to his craft - Abhishek left his MBA to pursue acting

Very few Bollywood fans are aware that Abhishek Bachchan was the first actor after the Great Dilip Kumar to win an acting award (Filmfare award for best-supporting actor) three times consecutively, winning awards for his performances in ‘Yuva’ in 2004, ‘Sarkar’ in 2005 and ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ in 2006

Inspiration for people with learning disabilities 

Abhishek Bachchan was diagnosed with dyslexia at the young age of nine but only recognised himself as one after he graduated. While there is nothing wrong with being dyslexic Abhishek Bachchan’s journey to stardom serves as an inspiration to everyone struggling with learning disabilities. 

A voice not just for Bollywood, but international talent as well 

Abhishek Bachchan showed his talent as a playback singer for the 2005 movie ‘Bluffmaster’ when he sang ‘Right Here Right Now’ with Sunidhi Chauhan. The ‘Ghoomer’ actor also featured in a rap song alongside Canadian singer Raghav and American rapper Nelly in a song titled ‘Until the Sun’, a tribute to the people of Africa and their struggles.
