'Avatar: The Way Of Water' Trailer Out: Visuals Get Even Better In Trailer 2 Of James Cameron Film

13 years after Cameron's superhit blockbuster 'Avatar', its second installment will release in December of this year.

New Delhi: 'Avatar: The Way of Water' or 'Avatar 2' is one of the most-anticipated films of this year. Fans who have been gearing up for the trailer release of James Cameron's film can finally take a breath as the trailer of 'Avatar 2' is out. 13 years after Cameron's superhit blockbuster 'Avatar', its second installment will release in December of this year.

The trailer of 'Avatar 2' is a visual spectacle, that is bound to heighten the audience's excitement. With 'Avatar: The Way of Water', the cinematic experience reaches new heights as Cameron transports audiences back to the magnificent world of Pandora in a spectacular and stirring action-packed adventure.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, 'Avatar: The Way of Water' begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive,  and the tragedies they endure.

Check out the trailer here:

As per reports, James Cameron has spent the last 10 years developing plans for the franchise's future, which is supposed to have 4 films, 2 of which have already been completed( filming wise). 'Avatar: The Way of Water' is the first of the four sequels which will be released eventually in the future.

Most cast members from the pilot film will be returning to 'Avatar 2' and many new cast additions have also been made. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang are supposed to return to the film franchise.

For those unaware, the first trailer of 'Avatar 2' was released earlier this year which showed some incredible visual effects introducing another colony of Na'vi on Pandora besides also suggesting that most of the story will revolve around Jake Sully and Neytiri's family. However, there wasn't much dialogue in the trailer and thus not much could be established of the sequel's story arc. However, the same can be expected from trailer 2 which released today.

'Avatar's official Twitter handle shared the news of the trailer launch on their handle and tweeted, "Tomorrow the wait ends. New trailer for #AvatarTheWayOfWater debuts on @GMA."

Since Avatar 2's  trailer release is happening a week before 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' hits theaters, this could also be a sign that the 'Avatar 2' trailer will be attached to the new Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

Directed by James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, the Lightstorm Entertainment Production stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang and Kate Winslet. Screenplay by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver. Story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno. David Valdes and Richard Baneham serve as the film’s executive producers.

Produced by 20th Century Studios, 'Avatar: The Way of Water' is all set to release on December 16, 2022 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
