New Delhi: Arjun has reacted to a report claiming that his girlfriend Malaika Arora is pregnant. The actor took to his Instagram story and slammed the publication and called the rumour a ‘fake gossip.

Sharing a screenshot of the news, Arjun wrote, “This is the lowest that you could have gone and you have done it by being casual, insensitive and absolutely unethical in carrying garbage news. This journalist has been writing such pieces regularly and getting away with it because we tend to ignore these fake gossip articles while they spread across media and become the truth. This is not done. Don't dare to play with our personal lives.”

The report claimed that Arjun and Malaika Arora are expecting their first child. The report also claimed that the couple announced the news to their close people on their trip to London.

Malaika and Arjun made their relationship public on Instagram in 2019 and have been spotted together on Holidays and outings since then. They have also spoken about their relationship many times.

Recently in an interview with Masala magazine, Malaika had talked about her relationship with Arjun. She called him her "best friend and “biggest cheerleader”.  “I can talk to him about anything and everything under the sun. That’s the most important bit about being in a relationship – you should be able to just be your true self and I can just be myself around Arjun,” she told the magazine.

Arjun had also spoken about her relationship on Koffee With Karan and had also revealed that marriage is not on cards anytime soon. "It's been two years of this lockdown and Covid and whatever was transpiring. I wanted to focus on my career. I'm a very realistic person Karan, it's not like I need to hide anything. I'm not sitting here and being coy. I really would like to be professionally a little more stable. I'm not talking about financially, I'm talking about emotionally. I would like to do work that makes me happy. Because if I'm happy, I can make my partner happy, I can live a happy life. I feel a lot of my happiness comes from my work," he told Karan.

Malaika Arora was previously married to Arbaaz Khan. The two parted ways in March 2016 and continue to co-parent their son Arhaan.
