Akshay Kumar Hikes His Fees Again; To Charge More Than Rs 100 Crore Now

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar is popularly known as Bollywood’s hit machine as the actor has been delivering back-to-back hits for a long time now. In the year 2019, tinsel town’s Khiladi Kumar films did a business of approximately Rs 700 crore at the box office. After which he became the highest fee-charging actor in Bollywood and is the only actor whose name was included in the Forbes 2020 list.

Reportedly, the ‘Ram Setu’ actor has once again increased his fees. According to an old report of Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar used to charge 120 crores for his films. But now he has increased his fees to Rs 135 crore according to the latest reports. The directors associated with the ‘Atrangi Re’ actor revealed that Akshay Kumar receives lots of love from his fans through his movies. People are not only keen on watching him on screen, but also about the message behind it. Because of which the film succeeds in doing excellent business at the box office. At the same time, Akshay's team also believes that they are entitled to the said amount.

The directors say that films made under the name of the ‘BellBottom’ actor are less likely to be harmed which is the reason many Bollywood producers want to work with Akshay Kumar. Many films of Akshay Kumar are going to release in the year 2021. Akshay will be seen in films including Sooryavanshi, Ram Setu, Raksha-Bandhan, BellBottom, Prithviraj, Atrangi Re and Bachchan Pandey.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day, Akshay Kumar released the online multiplayer game FAU-G with a video. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Face the enemy. Fight for your country. Protect Our Flag. India’s most anticipated action game, Fearless and United Guards: FAU-G takes you to the frontlines and beyond! Start your mission today. #HappyRepublicDay #FAUG @BharatKeVeer”.
