Looking At Adele's Rise To Fame As Singing Superstar Turns 32!
Recently turned 32, the singing sensation Adele had recorded her first album called '19' in 2016 which added the first feather of success to her shinning cap. Since then, the superstar is unstoppable!
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, an international singing sensation well-known for her introspective songs on life's vulnerabilities and setbacks, turned 32 on Tuesday. World famous Adele was born May 5, 1988 in London. From her tender age, she showed a great interest in music. A great admirer of the 'Spice Girls', Adele liked to sing their songs; however, little did she know that 21 years later, she would have known during the last concert of her tour of reunion "Spice World Tour” in the stadium of Wembley, England.
In 2006, Adele recorded her first album called '19' and became known for her single “Hometown Glory”. The girl only in her teens wrote this song, but one can feel her maturity running through her lyrics, "I've been walking in the same way as I did/Missing out the cracks in the pavement/And turning my heel and strutting my feet."
The British musician released her second album called '21' which was another feather added to her cap of success. Her album was sold with more than 30 million copies around the world, positioning its single "Rolling In The Deep" on the first places in all the lists of popularity.
Adele became the only musician from 2010's to achieve two diamond albums after she released her third album '25' which again sold over 22 million copies across the world.
As she crashed the US market with more than 25,000 copies of her '19' album sold, Adele tasted her first glory of Grammy in 2009 when she was awarded with 'Best New Artist'. Till now, Adele has won a total of 15 Grammy awards and many others including an Oscar for “Best song”, for the main theme of the movie “SkyFall” of James Bond.
Last year, the Grammy winner celebrated her 31st birthday by throwing a Gatsby-themed bash at the iconic Godfather mansion in Beverly Hills. While 2020 hasn't been kind, the Grammy-winning star previously suggested she was looking to release her fourth album towards the end of of the year, but it seems she might have to postpone her plans due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She recently split up with husband Simon Konecki, a charity entrepreneur. The couple, who share an eight-year-old child together, announced the sad news via a representative, with a statement reading, "Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment."
