New Delhi: The first trailer and teaser poster for 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,'- a 20th Century Studios’ all-new action-adventure spectacle has finally released. As a new entry in the studio’s global epic franchise, 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' directed by Wes Ball will open exclusively in theatres nationwide soon.
Talking about the movie, Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.
'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' stars Owen Teague ( who was seen in 'IT'), Freya Allan (who is known for 'The Witcher'), Kevin Durand ( who previously appeared in 'Locke & Key'), Peter Macon (who was seen in 'Shameless'), and William H. Macy (from 'Fargo'). The screenplay is by Josh Friedman (who was a part of 'War of the Worlds'), Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver ( the minds behing 'Avatar: The Way of Water') and Patrick Aison ( who worked in 'Prey'), based on characters created by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver.
Talking about the producers of the film, they are Wes Ball, Joe Hartwick, Jr. (their notable work being 'The Maze Runner'), Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Jason Reed (known for 'Mulan'), with Peter Chernin (from the 'Planet of the Apes' trilogy) and Jenno Topping (who was part of 'Ford v. Ferrari') serving as executive producers.
