Aamir Khan To Shoot War Sequence Of 'Laal Singh Chaddha' In Ladakh, Actor In Kargil For Recce With A Four-Member Team
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an official Hindi adaptation of Hollywood's ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks in the lead role.
Actor Aamir Khan along with a four-member team has headed to Ladakh for a recce of shooting location for his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.
The shoot in Ladakh was cancelled last year in July after India-China military stand-off in Galwan valley.
The superstar later also turned down the idea of creating a set for the same in Mumbai as he feels the war sequences will look grand only when filmed in real locations.
As per a report in Mid-Day, Aamir's team confirmed the superstar's presence in Kargil recently. The report further quoted a source close to the development and added that the superstar is scouting for locations in Kargil and Ladakh. The source said that Aamir handpicked a 4-member team to fly with him to Ladakh for recce. It was reported that after the locations for the shooting of pending war sequences were final, Aamir would shoot in the coming months.
Meanwhile, there’s also a strong buzz about Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya shooting with Aamir on the Ladakh schedule of the film. However nothing has been officially confirmed. And if this report turns out to be true then Laal Singh Chaddha will mark Naga Chaitanya's Bollywood debut.
Last year post lockdown the actor had flew to Turkey to shoot few portions of the film. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an official Hindi adaptation of Hollywood's ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks in the lead role.
Kareena Kapoor Khan plays Aamir’s leading lady in the film. She wrapped the shooting in October last year during her pregnancy.
