Aamir Khan Reminisces Days Ahead Of The Release Of Laapataa Ladies: 'We Used To Take Our Tea And Sit On The Road'

New Delhi: With the much-anticipated release of Kiran Rao's 'Laapataa Ladies' just around the corner, excitement among the audience is palpable. As the film garners immense love and anticipation, Aamir Khan, one of the film's producers, took a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about the pre-release days of his past films.

At a recent screening of 'Laapataa Ladies', Aamir Khan shared his experiences leading up to the release of his films. He fondly recalled, "Me and my friends often used to spend time together. What used to happen was, when our movies came too close to release and we couldn't sleep."

Reflecting on the nerves and excitement before a film's release, Khan shared anecdotes of gathering with friends, sipping tea, and engaging in discussions on the eve of a premiere. Presented by Jio Studios, 'Laapataa Ladies' marks a collaboration between Kiran Rao as the director and Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande as producers. Scheduled for release on March 1st, 2024, the film, made under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions.

The film is adapted from an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. The screenplay and dialogue are crafted by Sneha Desai, with additional dialogue penned by Divyanidhi Sharma. 'Laapataa Ladies' features Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta, and Sparsh Srivastav in the lead roles
