K Kavitha's ‘Number Will Also Come’: Anurag Thakur Jibes At KCR’s Daughter Over Delhi Liquor Policy Case

Thakur also criticised the Congress for allegedly seeking power through corruption, foreign funds, and betting money, stating that the party's guarantees have failed in the states it governs.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur stated on Saturday (November 4) that no one involved in the Delhi Excise Policy case, including Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter K Kavitha, will be spared, news agency PTI reported. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had mentioned Kavitha's name in a charge sheet filed in the case. Thakur also alleged that Congress is using foreign money to win elections and targeted Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel over allegations of receiving over Rs 500 crore in kickbacks from the promoters of the Mahadev betting app.

As per the report, he further accused Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and the party's president Mallikarjun Kharge of trying to win elections with foreign money, which he said came from overseas through the Mahadev betting app. Thakur also criticised the Congress for allegedly seeking power through corruption, foreign funds, and betting money, stating that the party's guarantees have failed in the states it governs.

Thakur also accused the Congress of corruption under its rule in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, referring to it as "Bhu-pay" and "Geh-Loot" rule, according to the report. He claimed that a significant amount of cash was seized in Karnataka after raids, allegedly intended for funding upcoming elections in various states, including Telangana.

He dismissed allegations of a tacit understanding between the BJP and the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana, stating that there was no such understanding. Thakur mentioned that arrests were made in connection with the now-scrapped Delhi Excise Policy, including former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh. He suggested that Kavitha would also face legal action.

"No one will be spared. Whoever is involved...one by one their number will come, and summons have already been issued to Kejriwal—the kingpin of the scam," Thakur was quoted as saying by PTI.. He also vowed to investigate allegations of corruption in the Kaleswaram irrigation project in Telangana, citing a report from the National Dam Safety Authority. Thakur accused KCR of corruption and challenged him to a debate on the fulfillment of election promises. When asked about Rahul Gandhi's statement regarding an "alliance" between the BJP and BRS, Thakur dismissed it, citing Rahul Gandhi's legal case.

Thakur also alleged a mutual understanding between BRS and Congress, claiming that BRS was deciding Congress' ticket distribution. He accused the Congress of making false promises to women and highlighted the 33% reservation for women in Parliament and state assemblies through the Women's Reservation Bill. He pledged that if the BJP were to win the November 30 assembly polls in Telangana, a Backward Class (BC) leader would be made Chief Minister. Thakur accompanied Goshamahal BJP candidate Raja Singh, who filed his nomination for the assembly polls.
