Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi, who became BJP’s first Lok Sabha MP from Kerala after his win from the Thrissur constituency, got congratulatory messages from Mammootty and Mohanlal. Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan also won the Pithapuram Assembly constituency and was greeted with a warm welcome by his wife, Anna Lezhneva.

The actor won by a huge margin of 74,686 votes against the nearest rival and Left candidate V S Sunilkumar ending a seven-decade-long political drought in Kerala for the BJP.
The national award-winning actor- had previously contested in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and the 2021 assembly election from the same central Kerala constituency, but the voters did not support his bid.
Pawan Kalyan gets a warm welcome from his wife
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan, the chief of the Jana Sena Party, has secured a significant victory in the Pithapuram Assembly seat in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. He triumphed over his YSR Congress Party opponent, Vanga Geetha, with a remarkable margin of over 70,000 votes.
Following his victory, Pawan received a heartfelt welcome from his family. In a touching video, his wife Anna is seen getting emotional as she greets him with joy. At their home, Anna performed a traditional pooja for Pawan. In another video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Pawan makes his first public appearance after the win, patiently standing as Anna performs an aarti and applies a tilak on his forehead. Adding a light-hearted moment, Pawan teased his wife while his party members chanted his name. His son with ex-wife Renu Desai, Akira Nanda, was also visibly emotional following the election results.

Pawan’s elder brother, the megastar Chiranjeevi also expressed his joy on social media, stating, “I am also supremely delighted at how my dear brother Pawan Kalyan steadfastly strived to ensure the Alliance WIN, keeping the people’s interests in mind. Heartiest Congratulations to you all !!!”
