Ramesh Bidhuri Stokes Fresh Controversy Over Remarks Against Atishi: 'Hirni Jaisi Bhagti Phir Rahi Hai'
Ramesh Bidhuri, who has faced ire for his remarks against Priyanka Gandhi and Atishi, has made a fresh attack at Delhi Chief Minister during a public rally in Delhi.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ramesh Bidhuri has yet again stoked controversy over his remark against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi.
Taking a jibe at Atishi ahead of the February 5 polls, the Kalkaji candidate said the Delhi CM is "running like a deer in the forest."
Bidhuri, who has faced ire for his remarks against Priyanka Gandhi and Atishi, made the latest attack during a public rally in the national capital.

"Dilli ki janta nark bhog rahi hai galiyon mei... galiyon ki halat dekhiye... Kabhi Atishi nahi gayi milne logon se. Lekin ab chunaav ke samay jaise jungle mei hirni bhaagti phirti hai vaise Atishi Dilli ki galiyon me bhaagti phir rahi hain. (The people of Delhi are suffering in the streets. Look at the condition of the streets. In the last four years, Atishi never came to meet the people. Now, when the elections have arrived, she is roaming on the streets of Delhi like a deer in the forest),” Bidhuri said.
A part of the video of Bidhuri's speech went viral shortly after he made the remark.
On January 5, Ramesh Bidhuri, while addressing a public gathering in his Kalkaji assembly seat, took a personal jibe at Atishi claiming that "she changed her father."
"This Marlena (Atishi) has not become Singh. She has changed her name. (Arvind) Kejriwal swore on children that he would not go (in alliance) with corrupt Congress. Marlena changed her father. She used to be Marlena. Now she has become Singh. This reflects the character of AAP," Bidhuri had said.
The former BJP MP is locked in a triagular contest against AAP candidate Atishi and Congress candidate Alka Lamba.
