Rajasthan Polls: Sachin Pilot Reacts To PM Modi's Comment, Says No Leader Should Be Worried About Me

Just a day ahead of Rajasthan Polls, Sachin Pilot said that his party and public will take care of him and nobody needs to be concerned about him.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot expressed confidence in sweeping the Rajasthan assembly polls, slated for Saturday. While responding to a question on becoming the 'Laadla' of both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, he said that if one strives to be a 'Laadla' then it should be of the public. He added that it is all about sacrifice, service and building relations with the public. Pilot said that nobody should be concerned about him as his party and the public would take care of him.

"If one strives to be a 'Laadla' it should be of the public. It doesn't require any other minister to be a 'Laadla', it's all about sacrifice, service and building relations with the public. A lot has been said and a lot has been alleged but I tried not to lose my patience and always tried to use decent language in front of the public. Nobody needs to be concerned about me, my party and the public will take care of me," the former Deputy CM said.

His statements came on the backdrop of the 2020 rebellion against his own CM Gehlot and after PM Modi during a rally on Thursday said Congress was not behaving with Pilot in the right manner

Pilot further added, "I had said this yesterday too, no leader should be worried about me. It is for my party and my people to think about me. We are dedicated towards the fight of our ideologies and the Congress party will emerge victorious across the country in that fight."

Rajasthan is set to go to polls on Saturday in a single phase and the results will be announced on December 3.
