Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday trained guns on the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal and the opposition's I.N.D.I.A bloc during his address at women's rally in Barasat in North 24 Parganas district. Modi targted the Mamata Banerjee-led government over the Sandeshkhali case saying that the TMC government can never provide protection to women.

He also berated the I.N.D.I.A bloc over the 'parivaar' jibe by Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav saying he feels a familial relationship with each and every citizen of this country. 

In Barasat, he also met with the victims from Sandeshkhali and listened to their ordeal.
