PM Makes 'Ek Baar Phir Modi Sarkar' Pitch In TN: 'NDA Has Laid Foundation For Developed Bharat Since 2014'

Prime Minister Modi campaigned in support of AC Shanmugam, the founder and president of the New Justice Party, who is contesting as an NDA candidate.

PM Narendra Modi, clad in veshti for the second consecutive day, campaigned for NDA candidates in Tamil Nadu ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections on Tuesday. He commended the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) efforts in laying the groundwork for a developed India over the past decade. During the rally, Modi extended New Year wishes and emphasised the historical significance of Vellore in shaping Tamil Nadu's future. He highlighted the increasing support for BJP and NDA in the state, expressing confidence in their success.

Addressing at a public rally in Vellore, PM Narendra Modi said, "...Our New Year is starting from 14th April. I wish you all a very Happy New Year."

PM Modi said: "Those who are sitting in Delhi may not know that the land of Vellore, the land of Tamil Nadu is going to make a new history... BJP and NDA are getting immense public support in Tamil Nadu. The whole of Tamil Nadu is saying 'Ek baar phir Modi sarkar."

In the last 10 years, NDA has prepared the foundation for developed Bharat, he said.

"...At the United Nations, I try to speak in Tamil language so that the whole world knows that our Tamil is the oldest language in the world..." "As MP of Kashi, I have come to invite you to make Kashi Tamil Sangam more glorious. Secondly, I was born in Gujarat and many families from Gujarat live here too. As a Gujarati, I invite you to the Saurashtra Tamil Sangam," said PM Modi.

Prime Minister Modi campaigned in support of AC Shanmugam, the founder and president of the New Justice Party, who is contesting as an NDA candidate. AC Shanmugam initially began his political journey as a member of the AIADMK. However, he later parted ways with the party to establish his own political entity, the New Justice Party.

In the 2014 Vellore Lok Sabha elections, AC Shanmugam contested as a BJP candidate and secured the position of runner-up. In the subsequent 2019 elections, he contested on behalf of his own party.
