Modi Will Be Jailed If I.N.D.I.A Bloc Voted To Power: Misa Bharti Hits Out At PM’s Corruption Jibes At Family

RLD's Patliputra candidate Misa Bharti responded to PM Modi's continued corruption jibes against her family, saying, "If N.D.I.A bloc voted to power, everyone, including PM would be in jail".

When asked to comment on the Bharatiya Janata Party's "appeasement" remarks on the Congress manifesto, RJD MP Misa Bharti said on Thursday that if the people of the country voted the I.N.D.I.A bloc to power, "everyone from PM Modi to BJP leaders would be imprisoned". Bharti, in response to PM Modi's continued corruption charges against her family, stated that PM Modi is ignoring nepotism in his own party while attacking others.

Her statement came when a reporter asked her to comment on the saffron party's "appeasement" take on the grand old party's manifesto, to which Misa Bharti responded that the opposition bloc is talking about the implementation of MSP and he (PM Modi) sees appeasement in that.

Misa Bharti went on to say, "He always accuses our family of corruption whenever he arrives here (Bihar). If the people of this country give the INDIA Alliance a chance (to form the government), then from PM Modi to BJP leaders, they will be behind bars."

Earlier this week, RLD released a new list of 22 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. The party has fielded former both Lalu's daughter Rohini Acharya from Saran and Misa Bharti from Pataliputra constituencies.

Will Corrupt Be Send To Jail?: BJP Reacts To Misa's Statement

Swiftly responding to the remarks made by the RJD leader, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawade said that the level of the opposition's campaign has stooped so low that they are talking about "Modi ji marega".

"RJD's Misa ji, daughter of Lalu ji, has said that Modi ji will be put in jail. The country wants to hear if the corrupt will sent to jail or not. The opposition's campaign is at a level where someone is talking about sending leaders to jail and someone is talking of death," Tawade said at a press conference.
