'I Am Worried About The PM, What Would The World Think': RJD's Manoj Jha Hits Out At Modi Over 'Mujra' Remark

In response to PM Modi's 'mujra' remark, RJD MP Manoj Jha stated that he used to disagree with the Prime Minister's statements earlier, but from now he is extremely "worried" about him.

Leaders of the I.N.D.I.A bloc critised Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday for accusing the opposition of "enslavement" and performing "mujra" for the Muslim vote bank. Rashtriya Janta Dal MP Manoj Jha stated that he used to disagree with PM Modi's statements earlier, but from now he is extremely "worried" about him. Condemning his remark, Jha asked critically, "Kaun si film dekh kar ye dialogues likhe jaa rahe hain? (Which movies is he watching to write these dialogues?)"

"Earlier I used to disagree with the Prime Minister, now I am worried about the Prime Minister. He is the Prime Minister of my country, what would the world be thinking about the political language of my country's Prime Minister? Which films are these dialogues being written after watching?," Manoj Jha told ANI.

"If someone starts saying that I have come through a divine path, I was not born biologically, if you and I say this, then people will say take him to the doctor," he added.

Here's What PM Modi Exactly Said

During rallies in Karakat and Patliputra Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar, PM Modi stated, "Bihar is the land which has given a new direction to the fight for social justice. I whish to declare on its soil that I will foil the plans of the I.N.D.I.A bloc to rob SCs, STs, and OBCs of their rights and divert these to Muslims. They may remain enslaved and perform 'mujra' to please their vote bank".

Mujhra is a traditional dance form that originated during the Mughal era in the Indian subcontinent.

Delivering Speeches Under The Sun Effected PM's Brain: Congress

Reacting strongly to the PM's 'mujra' remark, Congress's Pawan Khera wrote in Hindi on social media: "Today, I heard the word 'mujra' from the mouth of the Prime Minister. Modiji, what is this state of mind? Why don't you take something? Amit Shah and JP Nadda ji should get him treated immediately. Perhaps delivering speeches under the Sun has had too much of an effect on his brain".

'Such Cheap Language': TMC

Trinamool Congress MP Saket Gokhale also criticised Modi, saying, "From 'Naari Shakti', the man has come down to using words like 'mujra'. After 10 years of PR and a carefully curated image, Modi can't hide his true self anymore. Such cheap language."

"Scary to think what all he must be saying during his foreign trips as PM," Gokhale added.

Priyanka Chaturvedi of the Shiv Sena (UBT) shared a clip of the PM's speech and wrote, "Get well soon, Modi ji".

Samajwadi Party spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chaand commented on the PM's remarks. stating, "Today, when the polling for the sixth phase is underway and the campaign for the next phase is going on, the BJP has become disappointed. Their language has changed, and they are talking about 'mujra' now. The BJP has no answer to people's questions and only wants to mislead people. The people are well aware and will vote for us in the elections and I.N.D.I.A bloc is going to form the government.
