PM Modi To Lead BJP Campaign In Bihar, Bengal, And Madhya Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Bihar, Bengal and Madhya Pradesh on Sunday to campaign for the BJP, according to the party's post on X.
is set to lead a roadshow in Jabalpur on Sunday as part of the ongoing campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The roadshow is expected to draw significant attention and support from party members and the public alike.
The roadshow, to be led by Modi, aims to galvanize support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha elections. With Modi's charismatic leadership and widespread popularity, the roadshow is anticipated to energize party workers and attract voters.
Modi's visit to Jabalpur underscores the BJP's efforts to consolidate its position in Madhya Pradesh, a state where the party is aiming to secure a significant number of seats in the upcoming elections.
The roadshow will provide Modi with a platform to interact with the public, address their concerns, and highlight the achievements of the BJP-led government at the Centre. It presents an opportunity for Modi to rally support for the BJP's manifesto and policies.
Congress Hits Back at Modi's 'Muslim League' Remark On Party Manifesto
The Congress responded sharply to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's accusation that the party's manifesto bore a Muslim League imprint, countering with historical facts and accusing the BJP of practising divisive politics. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh pointed out historical inaccuracies in the Prime Minister's statement. Ramesh highlighted that it was Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder of the Jan Sangh and president of the Hindu Mahasabha at the time, who was part of a coalition government in Bengal with the Muslim League during the early 1940s. He further noted similar coalitions between the Hindu Mahasabha and the Muslim League in Sindh and North-West Frontier Province.
Ramesh refuted Modi's claims and accused the BJP of promoting divisiveness in Indian politics. He emphasised that it was the BJP, not the Congress, that embraced and perpetuated the politics of division.
