Whatever Oppn Wants Them To Do, We Get It Done: Rahul Gandhi's Jibe At BJP In J&K
Rahul Gandhi took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming the opposition controls the government's actions.
Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Monday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party saying whatever opposition wants them to do, it gets done.
Addressing an election rally in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch, Gandhi hit out at the PM saying he is not the Narendra Modi from earlier days.
"Saaf dikhta hai ki jo voh pehle Narendra Modi the voh Narendra Modi aaj nahin bacha hai," (the Narendra Modi that was earlier is not the same as today's), he said.
"Whatever the opposition wants them to do, we get it done. They bring a law but when we stand strong against it, the law is not passed and they bring a new law. The confidence they had earlier is now finished. We have broken Narendra Modi's psychology...," he added.

He further attacked the BJP-led Centre over the abrogation of Article 370 demanding to restore the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir.
"In India, a Union Territory (UT) has been changed to a state. Two parts of a state have also been done...But for the first time in the history of India, a state has been changed to UT here. Your democratic right has been snatched from you...Therefore, our first demand is once again you should be given statehood...," he said.
The Congress leader accused the BJP and RSS of spreading hate and violence across the country. "They make people fight with each other in the entire country. Their politics is also based on hatred," he said.
The fight between the Congress and its allies and the BJP is of ideology, he said.
There are people who spread hatred on one hand and on the other, there are people who open 'Mohabbat ki dukaan'," he said. "We travelled from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and then from Manipur to Maharashtra. Its message was one - hatred does not benefit anyone," said the Congress MP.
