Elections 2024: BJP Finalises Seat-Sharing With TDP- Janasena, To Contest In 6 LS & 10 Andhra Assembly Seats
According to a joint release, TDP will fight 17 Lok Sabha and 144 Andhra Pradesh Assembly seats while Janasena will contest two Lok Sabha and 21 assembly seats.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Andhra Pradesh finalised their seat-sharing agreement with TDP and Janasena for Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections on Monday. With the end of seat-sharing talks, BJP will contest six Lok Sabha and 10 assembly seats.
According to a joint release, TDP will fight 17 Lok Sabha and 144 state seats while Janasena will contest two Lok Sabha and 21 assembly seats.
Taking to X, TDP chief and former Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu said, "In Amaravati today, the BJP, TDP and JSP forged a formidable seat-sharing formula. With this significant step, the people of Andhra Pradesh now stand on the threshold of reclaiming our State and paving the way for a brighter future."

The joint statement said, "The names of the seats will be announced subsequently by the respective parties. We are driven by a desire to fulfil the expectations of the people of Andhra Pradesh. We are confident that the people of Andhra Pradesh will bless the NDA alliance partners with an opportunity to serve them to the best of our capabilities."
Overall, Andhra Pradesh has 25 Lok Sabha and 175 Assembly seats.
