The latest trends of Election result 2022 suggest that three sitting chief ministers are trailing in their respective seats.
Election Results 2022: While the counting for all five states is underway, the early trends for some seats have surprised everyone. While BJP has crossed the majority mark by leading in 203 seats in the early trends and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is leading in the Gorakhpur seat with 4500+ votes, three sitting CMs are trailing form their seats.
If we take a look at Goa, BJP candidate and Chief Minister of the state Pramod Sawant is trailing by 400 votes from the Sanquelim seat. Congress candidate Dharmesh Saglani is leading from this seat.
In the hill state Uttarakhand, while BJP is aiming to break the chain and return to power, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is trailing behind from Khatima seat.
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjeet Singh Channi who contested the Punjab Assembly Election 2022 from two seats Bhadaur and Chamkaur Sahib is trailing in both seats.
The latest trends seem to be going the exit poll way in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. BJP has crossed the majority mark in UP while AAP has also crossed the majority mark in Punjab.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya is trailing behind in Sirathu seat while in Uttarkhand Congress veteran Harish Rawat is also behind in Lalkuwa seat. In Punjab, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu is trailing from Amritsar East seat and former CM Capt Amarinder Singh is also trailing from his home turf Patiala.
