Arvind Kejriwal To File Nomination Today After Offering Prayers At Hanuman Mandir, Valmiki Temple
Kejriwal is contesting from the New Delhi seat and will face BJP's Parvesh Verma and Congress's Sandeep Dixit in the seat.

Delhi Election News: AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal will file his nomination for the February 5 Delhi elections today. The former chief minister will first offer prayers at the Hanuman temple and Valmiki temple and then go ahead with filing the nomination along with women supporters.

Parvesh Verma Visits Temple Before Filing Nomination
BJP candidate Parvesh Verma visited the Gauri Shankar Temple in Chandni Chowk before filing his nomination on Wednesday. "Har Har Mahadev...On the auspicious time of nomination, took blessings of Mahadev and Mother Gauri at Gauri Shankar temple located at Chandni Chowk. With his blessings, this journey will be dedicated to the service and development of Delhi. Your love, support and blessings will strengthen this resolve," Verma wrote in a post on X.

ED Gets MHA Sanction To Prosecute Kejriwal
Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has granted sanction to the Enforcement Directorate to prosecute Kejriwal in the excise policy-linked money laundering case, officials said.
The ED has filed a chargesheet against Kejriwal before a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court here last year after arresting him in March.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has recently granted the required sanction to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for prosecuting Kejriwal under the anti-money laundering law in the Delhi excise policy case, officials said.
