Bhagwant Mann Delivers Impromptu Duet With Mika Singh During Election Rally In Delhi: Watch

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, a former comedian, entertained a Delhi election rally with an impromptu duet alongside singer Mika Singh.

Amid political fights, allegations, and accusations Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday took an entertaining turn during the Delhi election campaign. 

Attending a public rally at Delhi's Majnu Ka Tilla in Chandni Chowk constituency, Mann joined singer Mika Singh in an impromptu duet energising the crowd. 

The event was part of Aam Aadmi Party candidate Punardeep Singh Sawhney's campaign trail who is the party's candidate from the Chandni Chowk seat against BJP's Satish Jain.

The crowd cheered for Mann and Mika as they gave the impromptu performance adding an interesting turn to the rally.

Before entering politics, Mann was a popular comedian, actor, and singer who gained popularity through his Punjabi satire comedy albums like Kulfi Garma Garam and Sawdhan! Agge Bhagwant Mann. He appeared in many television shows and was a contestant in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2008. He was also a part of the national award-winning film 'Main Maa Punjab Dee'. 

Mann entered politics in 2011 and joined AAP in 2014. He was appointed Chief Minister of Punjab in January 2022. Following his appointment, Mika Singh appreciated Mann saying the new post has brought no change in the person that Mann is. 

Elections to the 70-member Delhi Legislative Assembly are scheduled to be held on February 5 with a three-way contest between AAP, BJP, and Congress. The counting of votes will be done on February 8. 

While Arvind Kejriwal tries to retain power, BJP is leaving no stone unturned to oust his dispensation and Congress is hoping for a comeback.
