Congress Leader Supriya Shrinate Jumps On 'Look On Your Keyboard' Bandwagon With 'Conman' Jibe At 'NM'

Here's how Congress leader Supriya Shrinate took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a veiled attack. Check out her X-post here.

Congress leader Supriya Shrinate took a veiled swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a cryptic X post on Tuesday. Without directly mentioning Modi’s name, Shrinate hinted at him with a “look on your keyboard” reference, stating, “Conman of the century? Look next to B on your Keyboard :)”.

Earlier the same day, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate expressed dissatisfaction with the Election Commission’s response to the party’s complaint against Prime Minister Modi’s “redistribution of wealth” remarks.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi made hate speeches in Rajasthan. My colleagues met the EC on Monday and we have pressed charges against him. As they are not acting upon our complaint, we are looking at legal remedies,” she told news agency PTI.

She further said that there is a need for the institutions like EC to uphold public trust and maintained that her party would explore legal options due to perceived inaction.

The Congress had approached EC, seeking “appropriate action” against PM Modi for his comments made at a poll rally in Rajasthan on April 22, which the grand old party deemed divisive and malicious towards a specific religious community.

Reacting to the controversy sparked by Modi’s remarks about wealth redistribution, Shrinate said, “We hope that it will be a free and fair election. But we see little evidence of that,” adding, “The less said about the EC’s actions against the BJP, the better”.
