CM Yogi presents 2-year report card of his govt; says 'No riots took place during our tenure'

He further said that his government has made an investment worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore in last two years, which further created a lot of job opportunities for the youth.

Presenting a report card of his government, which completes two years in office, he said the BJP-led state government had been able to change the perception about the state.
According to the chief minister, the secure atmosphere in the country had become an example for the rest of the country.
New Delhi: As BJP-led Uttar Pradesh government completed two years in power on Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented a report card of the work done by his government in last two years and hailed his government for maintaining peace and order in the state. While addressing media, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said "We created a positive atmosphere in Uttar Pradesh”. Taking on the previous state governments in the wake of recent alliance between Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party (SP), she said "There was anarchy during SP-BSP rule". He further said that his government has made an investment worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore in last two years, which further created a lot of job opportunities for the youth. He also claimed that ever since BJP government has come in power in UP, “no riots were reported in Uttar Pradesh in last 2 years". The statement has come at a time when the pressure has been mounted on Yogi after Mayawati and Akhilesh shook hands with an aim to defeat Modi government in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The voting for Lok Sabha polls in the state are set to begin on April 11, which will be held in 6 phases. The counti8ng of votes is set to take place on May 23.
