Akhilesh Joins Kejriwal For Roadshow In Kirari — WATCH

Both leaders were addressing the election rally in support of AAP candidate Anil Jha from the Kirari Assembly constituency.

Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav joined the AAP's road show with former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal in Kiradi Vidhan Sabha ahead of the Delhi Assembly election 2025 on Thursday. A huge crowd gathered during the rally were seen.

During the roadshow, Akhilesh Yadav said, "I thank Arvind Kejriwal for giving me an opportunity to meet you today. If I had not joined today then I wouldn't have met this crowd. This time AAP has made up its mind to give a strong blow to the BJP in the Delhi Assembly Election."

"This time the Aam Aadmi Party people will wipe out the dishonesty of the BJP with their broom. Along with BJP, its dishonesty will also wipe out in this election," he added. Both leaders were addressing the election rally in support of AAP candidate Anil Jha from the Kirari Assembly constituency. 

Akhilesh Yadav Clarifies Supporting AAP Doesn't Mean Opposing Congress

According to a report by Aaj Tak, Congress leader and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat reacting to the rally, stated that Akhilesh Yadav had already announced his support for AAP. Previously Akhilesh Yadav claimed that AAP is stronger than the Congress in Delhi, and only Arvind Kejriwal can defeat the BJP there.  

BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi took a jibe, saying that those who once claimed unity while forming alliances over a "gutter of crimes" are now fighting among themselves. Not just the Samajwadi Party, but the Trinamool Congress is also supporting Kejriwal to isolate Congress. However, Akhilesh Yadav has already clarified that supporting the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi does not mean opposing Congress.
