Punjab ABP News-CVoter Poll: AAP Favourite, CM Channi-Led Congress Gets Stronger. SAD Can Be Kingmaker
ABP News along with CVoter has conducted Opinion polls ahead of the polls in Punjab to gauge the mood of voters.
New Delhi: Punjab assembly election 2022 will be held to elect 117 MLAs on February 14, 2022, as per the announcement made by the Election Commission of India on Saturday, January 8. This time, Punjab is set to witness a multi-cornered fight.
Congress and its internal strife with party state president Navjot Singh Sidhu; Capt Amarinder Singh quitting Congress and the CM post to float his own party and join hands with BJP; Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) snapping years old ties with BJP and partnering with BSP; and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) making strong inroads if Chandigarh Municipal Polls makes the Punjab Assembly Election 2022 all the more interesting.
ABP News along with CVoter conducted an opinion poll ahead of the elections in Punjab to gauge the mood of voters.
ABP-CVoter Opinion Poll | Punjab Assembly Election 2022: Vote Share and Projected Seat Range
In the latest ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is getting the most number of projected seats but failing to go past the majority mark, i.e. 59 seats. AAP is projected to win between 52 to 58 assembly seats, while incumbent Congress is coming second with a projected seat range between 37 to 43 seats.
SAD and its alliance can be kingmakers as the projected seat range for them is between 17 to 23 assembly seats as per the latest Opinion poll on Punjab Elections 2022. BJP is projected to bag seats in the range of 1 to 3.

It will be a close battle for vote share percentage between Congress and AAP for Punjab Assembly Election 2022 as projected by the latest ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll.

DISCLAIMER: The present opinion poll/survey was conducted by CVoter. The methodology used is CATI interviews of adult (18+) respondents with random numbers drawn from standard RDD and the sample size for the same is 89536+ across 5 states (UP, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa, and Manipur) & the survey was carried out during the period 12th December 2021 to 8th January 2022. The same is also expected to have a margin of error of ±3 to ±5% and may not necessarily have factored in all criteria.
