ABP Exit Poll 2019: Clean sweep by BJP+JDU in Bihar with 34 out of 40 seats; Congress+RJD to get only 6

ABP News Exit Poll predicts a massive victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal United (JDU) alliance in Bihar with as many as 34 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar.

ABP News Exit Poll 2019: As the voting for seventh and final phase of Lok Sabha Election 2019 concluded today bringing an end to voting process in the country, ABP News along with Nielson has come up with India’s most reliable exit poll predictions for its viewers. The aforementioned exit poll gives voters a detailed analysis reflecting the mood of the country. In this report, ABP News Exit Poll predicts a massive victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal United (JDU) alliance in Bihar with as many as 34 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats here. The ABP News Exit Poll also suggests a cruel dent for Opposition Gathbandhan of Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) and Congress as it likely to shrink down to just 6 seats in the eastern state. This comes as a massive disappointment for RJD leader and former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav who was affirmative about the Opposition coming back to power in Bihar. In 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, the BJP-LJP-RLSP combine won 31 Lok Sabha seats out of 40, RJD-Congress-NCP won seven and NDA's erstwhile ally JDU managed to bag only two. RJD won only four seats and the Congress two. The JDU, which contested separately had won two seats. Earlier in the day, actor-turned-politician and Congress leader (former BJP member) Shatrughan Sinha on Sunday expressed confidence that for the BJP it would be "soopda saaf" (whitewash) at the hands of the "Mahagathbandhan" in Bihar. This election would certainly be a litmus test for BJP+JDU alliance in the state as it made government after Bihar CM Nitish Kumar deserted the Grand Alliance. Kumar's decision to announce Bihar as a dry state will also play a crucial role in this election results. Even in Uttar Pradesh, ABP News Exit Poll predicts that SP-BSP-RLD Mahagatbandhan is bagging as many as 56 out of the 80 seats. BJP is expected to win on 22 seats and the Congress is expected to win on 2 seats. BJP which had won 73 seats during the last Lok Sabha elections in UP is down by more than 50 seats.
