Akola: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Dhotre Sanjay Shamrao from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 203116 votes. The polling / voting in Akola constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Sanjay ShamraoDhotre and Congress Party#s Hidayat patel

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, RPI candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 32782 votes. Here, RPI leader Ambedkar Prakash Yashawant attained 366427 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Fundkar Pandurang Pundlik bagged 333645 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Bharatiya Janta Party and RPI here Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated his RPI counterpart with a difference of 9053 votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 45113 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Fundkar Pandurang Pundlik attained 201800 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Gangane Sudakar Ramkrishna bagged 156687 votes
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha poll, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BJP candidate Phundkar Pandurang Pundlik attained 322384 votes and INC's Azhar Hussain bagged 171015 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Independent candidate with a difference of 13810 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Madhusudan Atmaram Vairale attained 178874 votes and Independent candidate Ambedkar Prakash Yeshwant bagged 165064 votes
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC(I) candidate Vairale Madhusudan Atmaram attained 199050 votes and INC(U)'s Mo. A. Razak Noor Mahammed bagged 95025 votes.
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated BLD candidate by a margin of 61499 votes INC candidate Sathe Vasantrao Purushottam had got 208468 while BLD got Lahane Motiram Udaybhanji votes.
• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated BJS candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate K. M. Asgar Hussain Sardarkhan attained 255162 votes and BJS's Motiram Udebhan Lahane bagged 88713 votes.
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated RPI candidate with a difference of 46295 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader K. M. A. H. Sardarkhan attained 188248 votes and RPI candidate S. S. Khandare bagged 141953 votes
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 47169 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Mohammad Mohibbul Haq Mohammad Anwarul Haq attained 135226 votes and IND candidate Brijlal Nandlal Biyani bagged 88057 votes
• 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated PWP candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Khedkar Gopalrao Bajirao attained 270093 votes and PWP's Karale Devidas Marotirao bagged 168117 votes.
• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated SCF candidate by a margin of 91382 votes INC candidate Gopalrao Bajirao Khedkar had got 243386 while SCF got Vishwasrao Suktaji Kamble votes.

हिंगोली : शिवसेना पक्षाकडून 2009 हिंगोलीचे खासदार राहिलेले सुभाष वानखेडे यांनी पुन्हा एकदा काँग्रेस पक्षाच्या तिकिटावर हिंगोली लोकसभेसाठी आपला उमेदवारी अर्ज भरला आहे. , तर शिवसेनेचे हेमंत पाटील यांनीदेखील लोकसभेसाठी आपला उमेदवारी अर्ज भरल्यामुळे आजी-माजी शिवसैनिकांमध्ये हिंगोली लोकसभेसाठी टक्कर होणार आहे.

सिंधुदुर्ग : वातावरणातील बदलामुळे आंबा व काजू उत्पादन धोक्यात , सध्या सिंधुदुर्ग व रत्नागिरी जिल्ह्यातील वातावरण ढगाळ दिसून येत आहे. तसेच काही ठिकाणी अतिशय तुरळक पाऊस पडून गेला आहे. अशा या ढगाळ व पावसाळी सदृश्य वातावरणात आंबा काजू पिकांची कीड व रोगापासून विशेष काळजी घ्यावी आणि फळ संशोधन केंद्राने जाहीर केलेल्या उपाय योजना करावी असे आवाहन प्रादेशिक फळ संशोधन केंद्र वेंगुर्लाचे सहयोगी संशोधन संचालक डॉ.प्रदीप हळदवणेकर यांनी केले आहे.

लोकसभा निवडणूक-2019 : छाननीमध्ये पहिल्या टप्प्यातील 147 उमेदवारांची नामनिर्देशनपत्रे वैध :- लोकसभा निवडणूक 2019 अंतर्गत राज्यातील पहिल्या टप्प्याअंतर्गत सात मतदारसंघातील नामनिर्देशन पत्रांची काल छाननी झाली. छाननीमध्ये 147 उमेदवारांची नामनिर्देशनपत्रे वैध ठरली. पहिल्या टप्प्यातील नामनिर्देशन पत्रे दाखल करण्याच्या शेवटच्या दिवसापर्यंत 184 उमेदवारांची नामनिर्देशनपत्रे दाखल झाली होती. छाननीअंती लोकसभा मतदार संघ निहाय वैध ठरलेल्या उमेदवारांची संख्या पुढीलप्रमाणे : वर्धा लोकसभा मतदार संघात 16, रामटेक मतदार संघात 21, नागपूर मतदार संघात 33, भंडारा-गोंदिया मतदार संघ- 23, गडचिरोली- चिमूर मतदार संघात 6, चंद्रपूर मतदार संघात 17 आणि यवतमाळ- वाशीम मतदार संघात 31 उमेदवारांची नामनिर्देशन पत्रे वैध ठरली.
