WBSEDCL Recruitment 2019: The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited has begun the application process to fill 1179 vacancies for the posts of Office Executive and Junior Operator Technician cum Technical Assistant on its official website - wbsedcl.in. The application process will conclude on 18th January 2019, 2 pm. The selected candidates will be placed in Class-3 at various establishments of WBSEDCL across West Bengal. Vacancy Details: Total – 1179 posts Office Executive – 745 posts Junior Operator Technician cum Technical Assistant – 434 posts Important Dates: Online Application Process begins – 28th December 2018 Online Application Process end – 18th January 2019, 2 pm Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualifications: Office Executive – The applicant must have completed Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University Or Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in HS. The applicant should have done One year course in Computer Application from any Institute recognized by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education/West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development level. Junior Operator Technician cum Technical Assistant – The applicant must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent and should possess Trade Certificate under NCVT from any ITI under Directorate of Industrial Training, Govt. of West Bengal in Electronic-Mechanic/Wireman/ Electrician (Total 2 years’ duration). Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 27 years as on 1 st August 2018. Age-relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test, and Personal Interview followed by Pre-Employment Medical Test. Pay Scale: Office Executive – The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 6,300 to Rs. 20,200/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 3,600. Junior Operator Technician cum Technical Assistant – The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 6,300 to Rs. 20,200/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 2,600.
