While the Prime Minister also urged parents to avoid drawing unnecessary comparative remarks on children at home to keep the sense of toxic competition away from children, he also asked teachers to stress on the importance of building a strong and healthy connection with students right from the first day of the academic year.
In his address, he also asked students to wisely choose a career option in a specific domain in which they feel utmost confident. Students should stay away from validation on career choices from several people, since it creates a sense of confusion in minds, he said.
Notably, the seventh edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha was held at the Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. This was the first time that the event was held in Bharat Mandapam, the venue of the G20 Summit New Delhi earlier last year, under India’s G20 Presidency.
What began in 2028, the Pariksha Pe Charcha has been conducted for seven years in a row now. Conducted before the commencement of Board Exams across the country, the PPC is aimed at easing exam stress among students, and help them face their exams with ease.
