WATCH: PM Modi Greets Students At Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024

Around 3,000 participants including teachers, parents, and students from across the country, participated in the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024, held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students from across the country in the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024. While around 3,000 participants including 2,050 students selected from across the country participated in the event, several students connected to the event online as well. Besides sharing tips on how to manage exam stress, instill confidence and self-belief to do better in life, PM Modi also met and greeted students present in the Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2024 event.

During the event, PM Modi took several questions from students, parents, and teachers and shared key insights for the collective upliftment of students’ confidence. In his address, PM Modi urged students to avoid creating unnecessary buzz and hype around exams, and asked them to think of exams as regular events, to ease down pressure. He also asked students to avoid toxic competition from fellow students and compete with themselves to perform better in every stream.

While the Prime Minister also urged parents to avoid drawing unnecessary comparative remarks on children at home to keep the sense of toxic competition away from children, he also asked teachers to stress on the importance of building a strong and healthy connection with students right from the first day of the academic year.

In his address, he also asked students to wisely choose a career option in a specific domain in which they feel utmost confident. Students should stay away from validation on career choices from several people, since it creates a sense of confusion in minds, he said.

What began in 2028, the Pariksha Pe Charcha has been conducted for seven years in a row now. Conducted before the commencement of Board Exams across the country, the PPC is aimed at easing exam stress among students, and help them face their exams with ease.
