The UPTET July 2023 notification is expected to be released soon.

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) notification is expected to be released soon. The new commission will also conduct the UP Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) exam. The Uttar Pradesh Siksha Seva Chayan Ayog (Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission) will release the details on UPTET July 2023 exam. Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath said, “Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) will be conducted through the new commission. It should be ensured that UPTET is held on time. Recruitment of teachers in non-government aided madrasas and minority educational institutions will be done through the new commission only.”

In previous years, the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority was responsible for organizing the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, which is a yearly state-level examination conducted in offline mode. Around 15-20 lakh candidates usually applied for the exam every year.

The UPTET exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 screens eligible candidates for recruitment of Primary Teachers for classes 1 to 5. Paper 2 shortlists candidates for the posts of Secondary Teachers for classes 6 to 8.

The selection of candidates for recruitment is based on their performance in the written exam, and the cut-off is predetermined by the board. The UPTET 2023 notification will provide detailed information on the selection criteria, examination scheme, syllabus, marking scheme, and eligibility requirements.
