UPSC NDA & Naval Academy (I) Exam 2019 Notification out: UPSC NDA & Naval Academy (I) Exam 2019 Notification has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today i.e. 9th January 2019, as per which, the UPSC National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy Exam 2019 will be held on 21st April 2019. Applications are invited from unmarried male candidates. The application process for the same has begun on the official website of UPSC – upsconline.nic.in and interested candidates can submit their online applications on or before 4th February 2019, 6PM. UPSC NDA & Naval Academy (I) Exam 2019 – Vacancy Details: A total of 392 vacancies have been notified by the UPSC for the 143rd Course of National Defence Academy (NDA) for admissions to Army, Navy and Air Force wings, and for the 105th course of the Indian Naval Academy (INA) commencing 2nd January 2020, next year. National Defence Academy (NDA) – Total Vacancies 342 Army – 208 Navy – 42 Air Force – 92 Indian Naval Academy (INA) – Total Vacancies 50 Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualification: For Army Wing of NDA – the applicant must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy – the applicant must be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Physical Standards: The applicant must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2019 given in the official notification below: UPSC NDA & Naval Academy (I) Exam 2019 Notification Age-Limit: The applicant must be born between 02nd July, 2000 and 1st July, 2003, only. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination followed by Interview round by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence. Step 1 – Visit the official website – https://upsconline.nic.in/ Step 2 – Click on ‘ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC’ Step 3 – Complete Registration Part-I followed by Part-II Step 4 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference Direct link to apply for UPSC NDA & Naval Academy (I) Exam 2019 Application Fee: Applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs.100 either online via Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card or offline by depositing Cash at SBI Branch on or before 3rd February 2019. SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCO/specified OR candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
