Attention candidates! The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the registration process for the UPSC CSE (Civil Services Exam) 2024 today, March 5, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who are yet to register for the UPSC CSE 2024 Exam are advised to submit their registration cum application forms at the earliest on the official website - upsconline.nic.in. Candidates will be able to register for the examination till 06:00 pm today. 

Following the closure of the UPSC CSE 2024 registration process, registered candidates will also be able to make changes to their applications from March 6 to March 12, 2024. While registering for the UPSC CSE 2024 Exam, candidates will also be required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, SC, ST, Female, and PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. 

Moreover, to apply for the exam, candidates must be aged between 21 years to 32 years, as of August 1, 2023. Candidates from the reserved categories though will be able avail age relaxation as per government norms. 

Candidates may note that the UPSC is conducting the Civil Services Examination to fill around 1,056 vacancies for various officer posts in several government departments. The UPSC CSE exam will be held in two stages where registered candidates will be required to appear for the preliminary exam in the first stage. Those who clear the preliminary exam would be further called for the second stage which would consist of the Mains examination and Personal Interviews. Step 2: Register online and login with your credentials

Step 3: Click on the ‘Apply’ link

Step 4: Click on the ‘Registration Link’

Step 5: Next, read the application form carefully

Step 6: Fill in with the required information

Step 7: Now, pay the necessary application fee

Step 8: Upload all the documents and scanned images

Step 9: Then click on ‘I Agree’ after reading the declaration form

Step 10: At last,submit the UPSC CSE 2024 application and download the confirmation page for future reference
