UPSC Civil Services 2019: Registration process for IAS, IFS exams begin tomorrow; here's how to apply

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is scheduled to commence the online application process for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019 starting tomorrow.

UPSC Civil Services 2019: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is scheduled to commence the online application process for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019 starting tomorrow i.e. 19th February 2019 on its official website – upsc.gov.in. The application window to register for Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2019 will be live tomorrow and the last date to submit the online application for the Prelims is 18th March 2019, as per the official annual calendar released by the UPSC earlier. Candidates interested in appearing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019 must keep a close tab on the official website and submit their online application on or before the deadline, in order to participate in the three-stage recruitment process that opens the gateways of the country’s most reputable posts in the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, Indian Corporate Law Service, Indian Railway Traffic Service, Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), Indian Information Service (Junior Grade), and so on. UPSC will be organizing the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2019 on 2nd June 2019, this year. Candidates who will qualify the prelims will be eligible to appear for the Civil Services Main Examination 2019 that will be held from 20th September 2019, onwards for all services, except for Indian Forest Service (IFoS), which is scheduled to be held from 1 st December 2019 onwards. While UPSC CSE Prelims 2019 will be of qualifying nature only, the selection of candidates will be made on the basis of their marks secured on the Main Examination (1750) and Interview (275). To apply for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019, a candidate must fall between the age bracket of 21 to 39 years and must possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
