This year too, students who obtained a minimum 35 percent marks are being considered pass. If their marks are below 35 percent they will have to appear for a supplementary exam or compartment for that particular subject. This provision was only available for one paper earlier, but Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma announced late last year that students can now appear for compartment exams for two subjects.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak and keeping in mind the social distancing norms, all the students will be restricted from visiting schools to collect their UP Board mark sheets. Hence, a digital mark sheet or e-mark sheets will be made available to all the students. Board's official website often crashes due to heavy traffic soon after the announcement of results.
