UGC NET 2019 Registration has begun for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2019 examination. The online registration in underway at ntanet.nic.in. The National Testing Agency  is scheduled to organize the UGC NET June 2019 exam in Computer Based Test mode on 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th June 2019 across the country for candidates seeking to qualify for the post of ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both’. UGC NET June 2019 – Important Dates: Online Registration Begins – 1st March 2019 Online Registration Ends – 30th March 2019 Download of Admit Cards – 15th May 2019 UGC NET June 2019 Exam Dates – 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th June 2019 Declaration of UGC NET June 2019 Result – by 15th July 2019 UGC NET June 2019 – Examination Schedule: First Shift – 9:30am to 12:30pm Second Shift – 2:30pm to 5:30pm Candidates will be given total 180 minutes to attempt Paper-I and Paper-II with no break in between. Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC, (50% for Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Transgender category candidates.) Final year students of Master’s degree are eligible to appear for the UGC NET June 2019, provided such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of JRF/eligibility for Assistant Professor only after they have passed their Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination with at least 55% marks, (50% for OBC-NCL /SC/ST/PwD//Transgender category candidates) Age-Limit: There is no upper age limit for applying for Assistant Professor. To be eligible to apply for Junior Research Fellow (JRF), the applicant must be below 30 years of age as on 1st June 2019.
