UGC Guidelines 2020: #StudentsLifeMatter Trends On Twitter As Many Share Dismay Over New Norms
The UGC released the new guidelines regarding final year University exams on Monday. It seems many are not happy with the decision and using #studentlifematter to express their dissatisfaction.
Voicing these opinions on Twitter, the hashtag #StudentsLifeMatter is trending, which is spin-off of #BlackLivesMatter. This decision will lead to mindless extended uncertainty for no discernable benefit. If IIT Bombay can cancel final year exams and extrapolate from previous assessments, why can't other univs? Education much more than exams and this narrow-minded view will endanger student health https://t.co/gwquWGb9uC
