The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP has released the UP Board class 12th result today April 20, 2024. The UP board class 12th result has been released during a press conference, following which the result link is now activated on the official website at upresults.nic.in. The intermediate examinations were conducted from February 22 to March 9, 2024. This year, 25,60,882 students participated in the UP board class 12th examination.

This year, 82.60% of students passed. In the class 12 exam, the overall pass percentage for girls stands at 88.42%, marking a significant lead of 10.64 percentage points over boys. Shubham Verma of Sitapur has topped the Class 12 or Intermediate examination with 489 marks or 97.80 percent.

Last year, the overall pass percentage for class 12th students was recorded at 75.52%. Furthermore, the number of students who appeared for the Inter Exams 2023 was 27,69,258.

According to the guidelines released by the officials, students who want to clear the UP board exams are required to score a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. If any student fails to meet this criteria and fails in one or two subjects, will have to appear in the UP board class 10th compartmental exams
