UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2024 Declared Live Updates: The results of the UP Board's 10th, 12th have been declared and 89.55% of students passed in class 10. In class 12, 82.60% of students passed.

UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2024 Live Updates: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, UPMSP has released the UP Board 2024 result today, April 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM on the official website at upresults.nic.in. Students can also check their results on news.abplive.com. The UPMSP also announced the names of Class 10th and 12th toppers, pass percentage, gender-wise result, district-wise result, etc., through a press conference.

 

This year, 89.55% of students passed in class 10. In class 12, 82.60% of students passed. In class 10, girls achieved a pass percentage of 93.40%, surpassing boys whose pass percentage stands at 86.05%. Similarly in the class 12 exam, the overall pass percentage for girls stands at 88.42%, marking a significant lead of 10.64 percentage points over boys. 

Prachi Nigam has secured the first position in the Class 10 final exam with 591/600 or 98.50 percent marks. In class 12, Shubham Verma of Sitapur has topped the Class 12 or Intermediate examination with 489 marks or 97.80 percent.

This year, the evaluation of the board exam papers was conducted by a total of 1,47,097 examiners. 

According to past year data UP Board Data, girls have outperformed boys. Last year, the passing percentage among boys in class 10 was 86.64%, while in girls, it was 93.34%. The passing percentage of boys in class 12 was 69.34%, and among girls, it was 83%. This year, over 55 lakh students have participated in the UP board examinations, which were held from February 22 to March 9, 2024. Out of these, 29,47,311 students registered for class 10th, while 25,77,997 students registered for class 12th exams.

Students are required to score a minimum of 33% marks to clear the UP Board exam. Apart from checking the results on the official websites, students can check their UP class 10 and 12 results through the DigiLocker app or by sending an SMS to 56263. Students have to type “UP10″ or “UP12″ along with their 10-digit roll number in the message and send it to the number. The UP Board result will be sent to their mobile phones.

Students who fail in one or two subjects will be eligible for the UP board compartment exam 2024. However, students who have failed in more than 2 subjects are considered to fail the board exam. Students who are unsatisfied with their scores will be allowed to apply for improvement exams. They can apply for the UP 12th compartment exam 2024 online and offline through their respective Schools.

UP Board Result 2024 Live: 10th, 12th Topper From Same School

Both the Class 10 and 12 toppers hail from the same school. Prachi Nigam secured the top position in the class 10 exam with a score of 591 out of 600 (98.50%), while Shubham Verma topped in the Intermediate exam with a score of 489 out of 500 (97.80%). They are students of Sita Bal Vidya Mandir Inter College located in Mahmudabad, Sitapur.
